Chewy Raisin and Oat cookies

I was trying to find a cookie recipe that is easy to make and yet tastes like heaven. Rightly so, i stumbled upon the raisin cookies recipe. Now, this isn't my original, but I browsed quite a few recipes for raisin-cinnamon cookies and oaty treats and finally it came down to this combination :)
From prep to warm cookies it took me less than half an hour. So if you are craving for a little home made goodness without much hassle, this is the recipe for you.
Ingredients
1 medium egg
70 gm butter - melted
50 gm soft brown sugar
1 tablespoon honey
100 gm flour (all purpose and wholewheat half and half)
60-70 gm raisins
50 gm rolled oats
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
couple of pinches of salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
few pinches of nutmeg powder
Method
1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Line baking trays with parchment paper
2. Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl - flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg
3. Add raisins and oats to the dry ingredients and toss well so that raisins are covered in flour
4. In a big bowl, add sugar to the melted butter and whisk lightly for 1 minute
5. Add half of the dry ingredients mix and fold in till well combines
6. Crack one egg in the mixture and whisk till all ingredients are combines
7. Add remaining dry ingredients and mix lightly
8. Put spoon fulls of the cookie mix on the baking tray and tap with spoon to a round shape, approx 4-5 cm in diameter
9. Leave space between adjacent cookies to allow them to spread during baking
10. Bake at 180 degrees for about 10 minutes. Cookies should be slightly brown along the edges, yet have a tender centre
11. Bake for 1-2 minutes more if desired
12. Let them set a while on the trays, about 5 minutes. This will help them to hold the shape together
13. Cool on wire rack and enjoy with a warm cup of milk
